What's happening today?
Testimonies of miracles, healings and salvations may be common throughout the bible, but we believe that such accounts should not be confined to the history books, and we strongly believe that God is at work in people's lives today.
Whilst the list below will be updated regularly, they represent only a selection of what is happening throughout the lives of those who are part of the church.
20 October 2010 - God heals again!
At our latest Alpha course Sylvia asked for prayer, explaining that her ankle had weakened and was giving in, causing constant and severe pain. The group prayed for her and, the next time we saw her, she reported that the following day she had awoken completely healed and has not had a moment's pain or discomfort in the two weeks since.
It was during the last Alpha course that Alf asked for prayer for his knees. We saw God heal, and four months later Alf is still amazed that he remains pain free.
3 October 2010 - Knee pain healed!
Danya received prayer for her knee and was struggling to walk without feeling pain. After receiving prayer, she was able to walk and do her paper round pain free, and hasn't experienced any more pain since!
16 August 2010 - "The peace that passes all understanding"
Two updates following today's service. Jan shared a testimony of how God is giving her peace about her son who is currently out in Afghanistan with the Army.
After a fall during the church weekend in June, Rob has experienced constant aching in his knees. He responded to an invitation during the morning service to receive prayer for healing, which led to a significant improvement. Back in April, Alf also came forward for prayer because he was about to undergo knee replacement surgery. After being prayed for, he was no longer in pain and later that week reported that he no longer needed a new knee! Four months later, Alf is still free from pain!
21 July 2010 - Celulitis Pain Gone!
Marge, a lady from the nearby Northwich church, came forward for prayer after a word of knowledge about pain in the back of the right ankle. She'd had cellulitis for quite some time and problems with pain ever since. After each prayer, she was in less and less pain. By the end, she was able to testify that there was no pain and she could stand on her right leg for the first time in ages!
30 May 2010 - Healed of back pain!
After a word of knowledge was given relating to back pain, Joy responded after having suffered a back injury two weeks ago, which had led to persistent pain. Within a couple of minutes of being prayed for, there was no more pain!
God is good, and has done a healing work today!
16 May 2010 - Testimonies from the front
Brenda testified from the front on Sunday as to her back being healed. Andy also confirmed the healing in his knee. Dorothy also got up and confirmed that an ongoing problem with pain had been relieved by God.
We prayed for a load more people on Sunday. May there be more testimonies this week!
