History
Planted in 1997, Gateway's initial weeks/months took place in the home of Anthony & Teresa Loring, the couple who planted and led the church for over ten years.
The church has been housed at a number of venues since it was planted in the city, though has remained in the South Liverpool area, and meetings currently take place at its Hunts Cross address.
The fellowship has seen many new additions during the time at its current home, and also a change in leadership, with Nigel and Melita Day-Lewis taking over the leadership after being appointed to the eldership team in June 2008.
Supported by a number of leaders of the various ministries which take place within Gateway, the church has retained a strong leadership team which has enabled it to grow into the vibrant church which can be seen today.
