UNITED KINGDOM & REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
CHURCHES TOGETHER
Monday 25 October (afternoon tea) - Thursday 28 October (lunch)
at The Hayes (Swanwick, Derbyshire)
New Covenant Ministries International invites the leaders and people of all the churches with whom we have friendship to come together for a week of worship, ministry, teaching, prayer, fellowship and fun. Celebrate our Father, our faith and our family. Be spiritually fed, refreshed and strengthened. Enjoy and advance our togetherness in the nation. Hear from guest preachers, members of the translocal team and UK/ROI pastors.
The Hayes
The Hayes has undergone a number of changes and improvements since we were last there six years ago. Principal amongst these are an attractive, larger, high-tech conference hall, which we will use for our main programme; and a large new sports hall for indoor footie, basketball and badminton (3 courts). A number of other halls, all fitted with the latest equipment, are available for the hosting of the children's programme and the workshops, and the site includes recreational facilities such as a grass five-a-side footie pitch, volleyball, table-tennis and pool.
As many of us will remember, the rooms are comfortable and the food is good! Overall, we feel the site will work really well for us and we are looking forward to returning there.
Special Guest
Many of us have felt the need to hear from a senior church leader and apostolic figure outside our tribe but also working into Britain and Ireland. We are therefore delighted that David Stroud, leader of New Frontiers International's UK Team, will preach at both our plenary sessions on Wednesday morning.
Plenary Sessions
Peter Rasmussen (SA), Grant Crawford (SA) and Ken Grenfell (US) will minister at the other plenary sessions, and possibly also other members of the translocal team and some of the UK leaders.
Workshops
We will have four workshops, all running over two late-afternoon sessions. Two are lifestyle subjects and two are ministry related. All four will be presented by people excellently qualified in those areas.
Sean & Nola Dooley - Marriage
Andy & Kay Gill - Prophecy
Rob & Gill McFarlane - Parenting
La Vere Soper - Healing
Delegates can choose the workshop they wish to attend once at the event. There will be no space limitations on any workshop.
Children
Children Together, a ministry programme for children aged 5 to 12*, similar to that at our final LTT last year, will run concurrently with the main programme during all the morning sessions. (* = Age in completed years on the first day of the event). Teenagers will be part of the main programme, although 13-year olds can attend the children's programme if they would prefer to.
Children below the age of 5 can be present at the event but will not be allowed into the main sessions in the mornings and will need to be looked after by parents (or helpers arranged by parents). If their children are reasonably quiet, parents/helpers can use the cry room just off the main hall, where there will be an audio-visual feed of all the sessions; otherwise they can make use of any of the other indoor or outdoor facilities on site.
All children (0 - 12) will be allowed into the evening sessions if they are properly supervised and are not a distraction.
Programme
There will be two plenary sessions each morning; the early afternoons are free; the workshops take place in the late afternoons; and each evening there will be plenary session with a shorter teaching followed by an extended time of worship and ministry.
Accommodation
Delegates can choose between standard (shared bathrooms) and en-suite rooms when registering, and must pay accordingly. They can also state if they want to be on their own or if they would like to share with one or more other people (this will not normally affect the cost). We will do our best to accommodate everyone's choice. If we are unable to do this, we will contact you to let you know in advance.
Cost
£130 per person in a standard room (£65 per child, aged 6-13; children aged 0-5 free)
£170 per person in an en-suite room (£85 per child, aged 6-13; children aged 0-5 free)
These prices include The Hayes' charges for accommodation, all meals and teas, and the use of all facilities and equipment. For 3 full days of comfort and blessing it’s a good deal!
Registration & Payment
Registration is now open. You can register by downloading and completing a registration form, which should then be sent to: Churches Together, PO Box 16, Woolton, Liverpool, L25 5QR. Full payment is required with registration. (That is, you need not and cannot register and pay a deposit now and then pay the remainder later.) All cheques should be made payable to New Covenant Ministries International.
An online registration option will shortly be made available to delegates but due to service charges, please note that this will involve an additional cost of up to £11.50 per person.
There are only 400 places available at The Hayes, including children, and it is a case of first paid, first served. Registration and payment must be made by Monday 11 October, assuming all 400 places are not filled before that date. Final numbers are required by The Hayes on this date so it is a deadline we cannot extend. Please note also that cancellations after this date cannot be refunded as after that date we have to pay for you regardless of whether you come or not.
Transport
There will be no organized transport for this event. All delegates must arrange their own transport to and from The Hayes.
